Alex woke up and stared at a clock. 5:23am. That was too early. Worst was that he didn't know where he was and his head hurt. Could he be in a hotel? He might be at a friend's house. The place was unfamiliar to him. Alex got up to take a look around. He picked up a photo and looked at the people. One of them may own the house. Or at least the room. Noise was coming from the kitchen. Should I go and see who was there, Alex wondered. It might be the answer to his problems.
